Disney USA with Process Video

It's Tuesday which means it's Disney day here and on my youtube channel. I started with a few pictures from the World Showcase and a couple of papers thinking I was going to do a quick simple layout. LOL it didn't quite go as planned. I'm really pleased with the end result but boy was it a journey to get there.

Sometimes it just takes longer to get where you're going.

Scrapmingle #4 - Hello Sweet Girl

Welcome back to the fourth layout in my Scrapmingle series. I pulled the pink papers to start my layout then pulled in some gray and gold along with other items from my stash to stretch it out. It feels good to get so much product used up and some old photos with memories documented.

This is the final layout with the Crate Paper Poolside but I'll be back next week with another collection and another Scrapmingle! Thank you so much for the wonderful response and all the encouragement. I really appreciate it.

Here's a look at the process from start to finish

Hello all! I'm here today with a layout I created using the fabulous Hello Lovely collection from Cocoa Vanilla for my Mix It Up Monday challenge at My Scraps and More.

The soft beautiful colors were perfect for this photo of my grandparents. It's one of the only photos I have so I was waiting for just the right collection. The soft peachy and blue colors are perfect combination to the clothing in the photo.

What Brings You Joy - CTMH Blossom

We're nearing the end of the cycle for this Close to my Heart catalog and I saved the best for last. Blossom is truly my favorite paper collection in this catalog and maybe since I've been a consultant. It's so versatile and I've done a variety of layouts with it.  Check out last weeks post and I'll have another one next Saturday but you better grab your Blossom now before it's sold out!

I did a double page and pulled out some photos when my kids were younger on a field trip with their homeschool group. Brings back many great memories but I'm also glad I'm through with that stage of my life. Being a mom and their teacher is not always fun. LOL

And some close ups

Supplies
Blossom paper
Stickers
Assortment
Sequins
Aqua glitter trim

Lots of great items like the ones used in this project are retiring so grab them quick.

All orders placed between now and Aug 31 on my website will receive a NEW 2015-16 catalog from me!!

Organizing Roller Stamps with Process Video

If you're like me you've gotten a few roller stamps and you might not be using them for the same reason I wasn't. i simply couldn't remember what I had or read them when I thought about using them. I decided to do something about it.

Here's a look at my solution.

If you're reading in email click the link below to watch
Roller Stamp Organizing

I cut my cardstock to 3x5" and corner rounded them. I matched the color of my stamp handle to the cardstock and then stamped each stamp on them. Punch a hole and put them on a ring and you have a fabulous visual tool to remember what you have so you can get some good use out of your roller stamps!

I hope you find this useful and give it a try. Let me know if you do and how you like it. Also if you've found other ways to organize and use them tell me about it or leave me a link.

Scrapmingle #3 - Play, Laugh, Grow

I'm so excited to be back this week with another process video for my new video series ScrapMingle - Where new and old meet. Thank you so much for all the kind words and response I've had to this series.

This week I took my cue for my color scheme from the Poolside paper which included navy, mint green, and pink. I used it for almost the whole page so I didn't need much more, just a few scraps of paper and embellishments.

Here's a look at the process from beginning to end.

Become a Cricut Pro

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Now that you’re more familiar with Cricut Explore One™Cricut Explore Air™ and Cricut Design Space™, it’s time to chat about some of the really neat things you can create when you put it all together.

As you’re getting familiar with your Cricut machine, it’s a great idea to take advantage of the free Make it Now™ projects and images that you get with Cricut Design Space™.

For example, check out this adorable 3D Hot Air Balloons Mobile. It’s a fun, easy starter project and makes for the perfect baby shower or toddler’s birthday gift (and can you believe it's made with felt?). And what’s a gift without a card? Cricut has an incredible selection of card examples made with Cricut Explore machines. There’s even a whole selection dedicated to everything baby, which is where I came across this cute baby shower card

Birthday
What better way to tell someone how special they are than with a hand/Cricut-made card and gift? This super fun shaker card is perfect for a 21+ birthday. And even if you purchase a gift, you can always use your Cricut Explore machine to personalize it. For example, if you bought a friend a purse or a wallet, you could use your machine to monogram it with their initials. Or if you bought them a plain shirt or sweater, you could customize it with a fun image or statement.

I love this sparkly pineapple t-shirt. All you need is a blank shirt, a roll of Cricut Iron-on, and images from the Cricut® Summer Love image set.

Pool Party
Soak up the summer fun with a pool party! You can use your Cricut Explore to create everything from invitations to decorations. Here are some really creative ideas for how to add some special splash to a pool party

Engagement/Wedding
Make your own beautiful table decorations, banners, party favor boxes, cards, and more for the happy couple in just a few minutes! You’ll find some really impressive ideas in Cricut’s Design Space, such as this lovely Mr. & Mrs. card

There are an unbelievable number of project examples in the Design Space, which are categorized by type (e.g. baby, holidays, home décor, school, food, etc.) and by level (easy, moderate, and advanced). You can also find a ton of great ideas for projects on Cricut's Blog and Pinterest page

The summer season is a perfect time to get your very own Cricut machine and familiarize yourself with Design Space and all the incredible projects you can create. Try out a few projects each month and you’ll be amazed at how easy it is. By the time the holiday season rolls around, you’ll be a Cricut pro and will wow your friends and family with your stunning crafting skills!

Happy crafting!

Disney Tasty Treats with Process Video

It's Tuesday so that  means it's time for a Disney share. I found a sketch at Scrap Our Stash and grabbed my Simple Stories Summer Vibes collection to scrap these photos from Disney's Ghirardelli's Ice Cream Shop.

I had a few struggles as you'll see in the process but in the end it all turned out. Glad to have these in the album.
