Birthday Card

Here's a quick card I did last year but never shared. I was using up some leftover scraps from the CTMH Scholastic paper. I paired it with the Artbooking cartridge and stamps.

The notepaper is a favorite image of mine from the Cricut Artbooking collection. The arrows and stars are cut from Artbooking and stamped with the Artbooking Take Note Stamp set. The happy Birthday sentiment is from our Minis Stamp collections that sell for only $2.95.

materials used:
CTMH Cricut Artbooking collection
Heartfelt Birthday Wish
Scholastic paper pack

Whenever I finish up with a layout I put all my scraps together in a bag.

CTMH has 13x13" bags that are great for this Z329 Resealable Bags or if you want something sturdier we have Paper Organizers Z334. They're the same as our great envelopes the stamps come in only bigger to fit 12x12 paper.

When I'm ready to have a creative session and I have bigger scraps I'll pull it out to make a single page layout. Or I may even mix it in with another line of scraps. The great thing about CTMH products is they're all related so they mix and match easily. When I get down to the smallest scraps I pull them out and make up as many cards as I can until all the scraps are gone.

I love paper and by organizing it this way it's easy and quick to use it all up furthering my stash keeping it  a great value!! Gotta love it!

SS Vintage Bliss - Bringing You Home

Today I have another layout for my DD's baby album using the Vintage Bliss Line. I also did this for my Sketch solutions class with BPC. I'm loving the class and it's really helping me to get this album going. I might actually finish it this summer. LOL

A few close ups. The journalling card is from the SS Baby line. They're a perfect complement to Vintage Bliss and help give that baby touch to the album.

SS Vintage Bliss - Starburst heart

Recently a fellow online friend Isbaha shared a beautiful layout with a stardust Star. She did a quick video to show how she did it and while I've been wanting to try it on a layout I always pushed it aside because of the time it would take. I loved how quick and simple she did it so I set out to try it. i've been working on my daughters baby album so I decided to do a heart.

You can check out Isbaha's video and a picture tutorial where she was inspired at Scrap Your Stash.

Here's my layout. I used Simple Stories Vintage Bliss for my papers. I cut my heart with my cricut and the Artbooking cartridge. It really was  really quick with the help of isbaha's video.

And some close ups. I pulled some really old stickers from my stash as well as new brads, enamel dots, and wood veneer hearts. I love using up my old along with my newer.

I hope you enjoyed my layout and will check out the tutorial and try it yourself. Link back here in the comments if you do. I'd love to come see!

Disney's Hollywood Studios - Balloon Ride

I think our second layout for Scrap Club has to be one of my favorites in a long time. I combined a lot of stamped images and the Balloon Ride complements along with stitching to tie my photos all together.

We love Disney and we love Hollywood Studios. I took some of my favorite photos from this trip and put them all together on a page. We've been enough times I don't need to scrap each ride or show that we see. It's fun to tell the stories behind how my daughter and I love to watch Castle and always are anxious to see if they still have Castle featured and take a photo with it as well as the infamous umbrella from Singing in the Rain. This particular trip was when Monsters University was coming out so the front of the park was decorated all up for it. Loved this movie and totally had to include some favorite moments playing in front of it.

I used the Balloon Ride complements again to help with titling the page along with adding jute to it for added dimension and interest.

The stitching guide makes sewing on your layouts so easy. I added zig zag stitching to the strips of paper as well as a scallop stitch along the left edge of the paper. You could easily use a border punch with paper but I love the texture and look of the stitching.

I used a lot of stamped embellishments to finish off the page. Layering and clustering them together makes a great economical embellishment. Be sure to add foam dots to some of your pieces for added dimension.

I hope you don't get tired of seeing the reel stamp but it is my all time favorite to use right now and I always seem to see if I can tie it in somehow. The Hostess Washi tape stamp is another favorite. Now I can add perfectly color matched washi to all of my projects.

Disney Performer - Balloon Ride

Here is our first layout we'll be working on for Scrap Club. I'm in love with BAlloon Ride and love how this page turned out.

I thought the balloon paper was a great backdrop to the photos of the show held in France where he climbs higher and higher seemingly among the clouds. I added stitching, bling swirls, the chipboard complements and some beautiful sculpted flowers made my dear friend Nancy.

Some close ups
The stitching guide makes it so easy to add a beautiful dimensional touch to your layouts with almost no cost. My kind of embellishing.

The Rosewood Mini Medley and sparkly flourishes are a perfect elegant touch to the cluster of embellishments.

The Balloon Ride Complements make titles and embellishments a breeze.
