Disney Liberty Tree Tavern

Oops I missed magical Monday again. LOL  This is a pretty simple layout and not much to write home about in my opinion but I think it's because we didn't really care for the food and we were so tired when we ate here. It kind of spilled over into the layout. LOL

The title is all letter stickers. Remember I'm trying to use up a lot of my stash and I have a lot of letter stickers which I never use because of my cricut.

I mixed the title up by using 3 different fonts but they all have a very clean typewritten feel to them so they go well together.

The only embellishment I did were a couple of simple cuts from the My World cart. I inked them up a bit to try and make them eye catching.

Sometimes you just have to do a layout even if it's simple so you can move on to the next pictures which excite you more. ;o) Hope you enjoy and spend a moment today scrapping a memory whether it's a favorite or not.

Cards, Cards, Cards

I shared some cards a couple weeks back that I was making for convention to swap with my fellow consultants, well I thought I'd share what I received in return.

Aren't they fabulous! I'm so glad I took the time to make some up to swap. I did 50 but I think I'll do more next year. It was so much fun and I got so many great cards back. I'll be using some to display, some to give to hostesses or customers, and a lot will be used for ideas to create from.

I'll be sharing them up close real soon for you to see all the great details

Disney Beaches 'N Cream

Tina Gale here from tiggersscrapplace.blogspot.com with another Disney layout. If you hop over to my blog you'll find lots of Disney layouts. Our challenge was travel and where better to travel than Disney! LOL

This is a great little ice cream and burger joint on the Boardwalk. The ice cream is fabulous. My kids had root beer floats and then helped their Daddy finish his hot fudge sundae!

Remarkable Wreath Card

Just a few more days until I leave for CTMH's Convention. I've been busy working on cards for a card swap. This is one that I designed and made a few of before moving on to a new design with current papers.
I hope my fellow consultants like it.

I adore our new Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon. It's just one more way all of our products coordinate so easily! I used our spray pens with water and our pearl paint to create shimmer along with our ink to color the ribbon.

Supplies:
CTMH Remarkable Wreath
CTMH Color Ready Seam binding Ribbon
CTMH Mayberry paper (retired)
CTMH Creme Brulee Ink Pad
CTMH Tulip Ink Pad
CTMH Cocoa Ink Pad
CTMH Create a Shade Pearl Paint
CTMH Spray Misters

Stay tuned for all the great news coming from CTMH next week at convention. I'll be posting up to the minute news on my facebook page MyScrappyIdeas so be sure to Like it if you haven't already.

Time To Scrap

One more organizing bag from Thirty-One. This is their Organizing Utility tote. It is awesome. I have one in my car to catch all the things we accumulate. It's also perfect to carry the groceries in.

I'm using this one for my crop bag. It's perfect for carrying page kits and supplies in. It's also the perfect size to carry the Cricut Expression in when I want to transport it.

This is the amazing Top a Tote in black that was last months special. It makes an amazing bag PERFECT!

How do you carry your crop supplies? I'd love to hear about it.

Packing UP for a crop

I'm always on the lookout for great storage ideas. I'm an organization junkee. That's not to say I'm organized I just like to read and buy stuff to organize. LOL  I have always loved Thirty-One bags and they have the most wonderful organizing totes. This is their mini organizer bag that is perfect for a scrapbook tool tote. I recently signed up to be a consultant so I could get all the organizing bags on my wish list.

One Armed Scrapper

Hello everyone! I thought I'd post a little update to let everyone know why the postings have been a bit sporadic lately. Several months ago I started having problems with my arm and it just kept getting worse. I really thought I had just strained it and with time it would get better. In May we went to Disney and I thought the week off from work and the usual things I do I would rest it and see some improvement. Unfortunately the opposite happened and it became worse. I set up a Dr's appointment and they thought it was bursitis so she sent me to see an orthopedic. He told me it was adhesive capsulitis better known as a frozen shoulder. He proceeded to tell me it was one of the worst cases he'd seen. He gave me a steroid injection in the shoulder and I immediately went into physical therapy.

As you can see my arm was pretty useless other than sporting the cute little sling my mommy blinged up for me. I'm happy to report therapy is working wonders and I'm not sporting the sling anymore. I finished my first month of therapy and had a check up again to discuss surgery. I have been working my bum off to prevent surgery and I'm happy to say it has paid off. He was amazed at how far I've come and no longer wants to do surgery. I have 3-4 more months of physical therapy and he believes I should get full use of my arm back and all the strength I lost. It's a good thing too because one armed scrapping is exhausting. LOL

I've been busy making cards for a card swap I'll be participating in at convention. I'll be sharing those this week so stay tuned.
