CTMH Fall Thanks

It's great to be back for another week and another challenge at sweetsassydiva. This week our challenge was fall. I couldn't resist using the CTMH Art Philosophy cart and stamp set again. It has a fantastic oak leaf shape which is what I designed my card around.

Here are two of the stamp sets that you receive in the CTMH Art Philosophy package. The great thing is all the images have printed next to them the exact size you need to cut to match the stamp.

The leaf was cut at 2" and can be found on pg. 34. I cut 4 of them and then stamped with Olive, Barn Red, Sunset, and Autumn TerraCotta. These are beautiful autumn colors when used all together. Don't you just love Fall?!

The scalloped sentiment was cut at 2" and can be found on pg. 41. I cut it 3 times and stamped it in Olive, Creme Brulee, and Goldrush then cut apart to create layers.

The papers are from the Elemental line.

I hope you enjoyed my fall card and visit me at my blog tiggersscrapplace  I have many more projects made with the new CTMH project. If you need any CTMH products I'd love to be your consultant. Just stop by my blog and click the shop now button or you can go to myscrappyideas.myctmh.com

    Cricut Circle BLOGiversary Challenge

The Cricut Circle blog is celebrating it's blogiversary with some great challenges and prizes. I've challenged myself to try and do as many as I can get done this week. Wish me luck.
The first challenge I completed is  the Imagine challenge. I love my Imagine but don't use it near enough. The challenge was to create your background and at least one cut with all the layers. I was looking at a card I just created with the Imagine and wandered why I didn't create the background as well as my cuts. Duh!

So here is all my printing and cutting from the Imagine. They all come from the Imagine More Cards cartridge. I used my George cartridge to create a 4  X 5 1/4 rectangle and filled it with this beautiful grungy blue paper. Then I created a strip 1 x 5 of the pink polka dot paper. It perfectly matches the colors in my bird house cut.

The birdhouse I seperated into 4 layers and and then pop dotted the layers to create great dimension.
I used crinkle ribbon to finish it all off.

Here's the completed card. I really liked the first card i made but this one is even cuter I think. I love the Imagine papers and how it all ties it together. I really need to use my Imagine more.

Don't forget about the great CTMH special this month. If you've been thinking of becoming a consultant now is the time. You will receive over $460 worth of product for just $99!  Check out the full details here.

And if you just want to buy some products click my shop now button at the top left of the page. There are some great deals in the While Supplies Last section.

And when you buy $50 this month you'll get this great Stamp of the Month, Holiday Magic for only $5.

    Sophmore Year

Today the sweetsassydiva Design Team was asked to create a project with the new Close to my Heart Art Philosophy cricut cart. I have been having a blast with this new cart and the stamps that go with it. In my opinion it is the best cart PC has ever done and CTMH has just made it better with the stamps that go with it. Be sure to check out my blog for more great projects made with this cart.
Now on to my project for today. This is a quick layout I did with the Typest Workshop on the Go from CTMH and the Art Philosophy bundle.
This is my son's sophmore pic and class picture from several years ago. This paper pack and stamp set is perfect for school pics and many more subjects.
Here's the left side of the layout.

The banner is cut from the AP cart and then stamped with the Vintage Type stamp set. I added ome black embroidery thread bows to finish it off.

The red star is from the Typeset Complements. They're fabulous printed canvas stickers. I'm so in love! The yellow star is stamped from the Love Life stamp set.

The Grade A is another canvas sticker from the Complements package. The title was stamped and hand cut from the Alphabet stamp set.

CTMH also has the fabulous Milepost shapes that are corugated cardboard cut to shapes that you can find on the AP cart as well if you want to layer them. You get a large bag of 48 shapes. Here I just inked them and layered more stamped stars and washers from the Vintage Type stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed my layout today and come visit me at my blog for more great projects. If you'd like to order the Cricut Art Philosophy bundle go here to my CTMH website or if you'd like to learn how you can get it for 50% off please contact me.

Also if you're interested in signing up as a consultant be sure to check out all the details about Octobers deal for new consultants on my Oct 1st post!.

    A Knight to Remember

I have a layout today that I used the new Cricut Art Philosophy again. I absolutely love this cart. It is so versatile! I can't wait for you to see what just one cut can do to make a complete layout. This is my beautiful daughter that just turned 17. My  where have the years gone?
I cut the background top note at 10 1/4" and the blue one at 10 3/4" to create a border. I cut it again at 3" to create the journaling block. Can you believe 3 cuts of the same shape made this complete layout?!

The picture just do not do this layout justice. The bling is so sparkly and pretty. The paper is a glitter paper from DCWV Linen pack. The flower is made with some blue silk cut in circle shapes and then heating the edges to cause them to curl up. Layer them up and you have a gorgeous flower. A couple of feathers and a hat pin to finish it off. I used a bling buckle and crystal swirls from Hobby Lobby. The ribbon is some from a swap so I'm not sure the brand.
I hope you enjoy my layout today as much as I enjoyed creating it. I think it turned out as beautiful as my lovely daughter and her knight in shining armor.
I'm submitting this to the My Craft Spot Design Team. Be sure to check out the blog for great challenges, terrific stamps, and gorgeous crinkle ribbon!
    I'm also submitting it to

I've been wanting to use some pleated ribbon on a project so I decided this would be the perfect time. I think it turned out rather well. LOL
