Let It Snow Card

I made this adorable card for the blog hop challenge at Peachykeenstamps.
The snowman is a stamp I had. I used red flocking for his hat and applied glitter to his body then added stickles for his buttons and nose.
The background is the Cuttlebug snowflake embossing template. I rubbed blue ink onto it and then ran through the cuttlebug. I just love this effect!

I pop dotted him up to add dimension. The circle and scalloped circle were cut using Winter Woodland and my cricut.

The Let it snow is a $1 stamp from Michaels and the mittens are some buttons I cut the shank off of and glued on. I think they're the perfect touch.
I hope you enjoy and as always I love to hear your comments.

How to make glittered letters with your Cricut and Xyron Video Epiisode 11

This is showing how I made the title for my Year of a Million Dreams layout. I hope it's helpful and encourages you to try your hand at making your own titles. Think of all the money you can save on those chipboard letters.

Sorry the pictures a little dark. It's hard to photograph glitter.

Cricut Paper Piecing with Disney Cart Pt 2 Episode 9

Here is part 2 of the Cricut paper piecing Video. Here I'l show you how I lay it out and put together my pieces. Hopefully the tips I share will help those with questions.

Winter Woodland Embossed Card

Oh I had such fun with this card! I did the challenge from the cuttlebug challenge blog. I have never used ink on my embossing folders but that was the challenge and I have to say it was fun, fun, fun. I almost couldn't stop.

For this card I used the snowflake 1 cut from pg 32 of the Winter Woodland Cart. I cut it at 2 1/2" and did the 3 layers in different colors. I added a snowflake eyelet to the center and dew drops.

I rubbed a light blue dye ink onto my Snowflakes embossing folder then put my paper in and ran it through the Cuttlebug. What a fun effect! I'm so glad I tried this.

As always I love to hear your comments and you should try this too. It's addicting.

Cricut Paper Piecing with Disney Cart Episode 8

I've had a lot of questions about how to cut when there are several pieces and putting them all together so I made a video, actually two, to show everyone. This first video is just the cutting out of the pieces and some great tips. I will upload the 2nd video tomorrow of how to put him all together.

I chose Meeko from the Dreams Come True cart to make a birthday card for my daughter. She absolutely loves Meeko and I think he turned out adorable.

Here's a look at the finished card. I did this for the Just buggin challenge. The card stands up. I think it's adorable sitting up on a table to look at.

I hope this helped and I'd love to hear your comments

Winter Woodland Card

I finally got my WW cart and I have to say I am in love with it. It has so many cute cuts. This is just the first of many cards I will be posting so be sure and check back or subscribe to my blog so you don't miss any of them. You will definitely want this cart if you don't already have it.

I cut a second tree to pop up. I embossed it with silver embossing powder to give it some bling to match the bling on the cardstock of the background.

Christmas Cheer tree Card

Another quick simple Christmas Card. I used the tree from the Christmas Cheer cart. The noel is a clear stamp from the dollar bin at Michaels. I stamped it with embossing ink and then used silver embossing powder. I love this paper. Everything is bright and cheery. It reminds me of the Who's. You know from the Grinch Stole Christmas. I expect to see one pop up from behind the tree. LOL

I used a sketch from the scrapsketch blog. Be sure and check them out for some fabulous sketches.

Age is Only a Number Card

This is a quick little card I put together for a good friend for a very special birthday. There are dew drops on the punch outs of the border that was made using the fiskars treading water punch. The stamp is another stamp from the Humorous Birthday set from Inkadinkadoo. I just love this set. Such fun little sentiments.

The inside of the card reads "mine is unlisted".

Disney Believe layout

This is a quick layout I put together. The brackets are from Plantin Schoolbook and the title is from Tinkerbelle. I used Diamond stickles to go over the title and add some bling.

We celebrated our kids birthday at Disney and I had my husband sneek in before the kids got to our room to leave some Disney magic for them. My daughter still believes the fairies were left by Disney for her. They each received new Disney t-shirts and housekeeping had left some towel art on the bed for us so magical things still happen if you Believe.

Disney Pinocchio Village Haus

What a fun layout this turned out to be. I am absolutely in love with my cricut! I just can't seen to scrap without it.

The circle was cut from george.

The scalloped edge was done with the DS and Plantin Schoolbook.

I cut the flower at the bottom from Accent Essentials and then added a brad through the middle. A little Diamond Stickles and it zinged.

I used the Autumn Leaves Flourish stamp behind a couple of the flowers for just a little more flow. I used Lime Green Stickles to go over some of the stems and swirls on the paper and added a few of my own. I really like the bling it added.

The food here at Pinocchio's is fabulous. I absolutely adore the panini. I hear it's gone now though. Boo Hoo. The pizza and salad were good too and a really good value at that. Of course we were on the free Dining so it didn't matter. LOL

I'd love for you to leave me a comment and tell me what you think or your favorite places to eat at Disney!

Disney Magic in the Air

I wanted to do a layout to introduce each park and this is what I came up with for the Magic Kingdom. I had some random photos of the park I used and our family photo in front of the castle.

I used the mickey head cut from the mickey cart around the family photo.

The map and time guide is tucked in a little pocket I created behind the photo.

The bookplates are from the Fabulous Finds cart.

The clipboard is cut from the Fabulous Finds cart to add my journaling on to.

The mickey head balloon eyelets were some I picked up a couple of years ago at the CK convention.

Hope you enjoy and as always I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Organizing Cuttlebug Folders Video Episode 7

Here's my quick, cheap, easy way to organize my cuttlebug folders. I forgot to add in the video that I wrote the names on the embossing folder with a sharpie as well.
Hope you enjoy and as always I love to hear your comments.

Disney Got Dreams?

I absolutely love this photo. We were early to MGM and wandering around when we noticed all the characters coming out of a building to go to their posts. The cast members stopped to pose and take a picture of them all together. I couldn't resist. I walked right up and snapped one too. I don't think they appreciated it very much but I snapped it and left.

The layout was a lot of fun to do. I cut the title from Plantin Schoolbook. I used my xyron to run my letters through and then applied the glitter. I then ran them back through on the other side to adhere to my layout. Very messy but I had to have the bling for this layout. Be sure and check out the video showing how to do the title.

As always I love to read your comments.
