Scrapbook Room Remodel Wonderful Hubby

My wonderful hubby who has worked so hard getting my new room done for me. He's the best!
Love you bunches.

Scrapbook Room Remodel Floor and wall

This is the original floorand the floor tore back to the joists. Now the floor all built up, reinforced, and decked. Bounce Bounce without shaking everything downstairs. LOL

Rebuilding a half wall where the South wall was. Hubby is studying, trying to figure out exactly what he wants to do.
1/2 wall framed in and we decided to have the wall go all the way up on the end.
It's coming together nicely. It's now wired completely and ready for sheetrock.

Scrapbook Room Remodel Day 2

Well we've got all the walls and floor torn down to the studs and joists. The floor needs to be reinforced so it doesn't bounce. The wall next to the staircase and the closet is coming down to open up the room more.

This is a hundred year old house so we've put lots of work into it and when you tear something out you just never know what you're going to find. The room originally only had one plug in so all new wiring is going in, lots of insulation, and a whole new roof line where the new attic space joins my new scrap room.

North wall

West and North wall.

South staircase wall is gone now!

The beginning of my scraproom

This is my scraproom which is a room that we partly gutted to open up our attic space and build 2 new bedrooms and a bathroom. This is why you'll see insulation and torn walls. LOL Well my hubby is totally rebuilding it for my birthday.

This is the South wall. The doorway is to the right and the new bedrooms are to the left. I love these little shelves but this wall will be coming down so I have to say bye to them.

This is the doorway and the West wall.

Rest of the west wall and north wall. The blue edge on the right side is a closet which is also going bye bye.

Next I'll post the room completely torn out. I'm so excited and can't wait to be finished.

Disney Silly

Another Disney layout I completed for a challenge on a Disney group. This marker is on the way to the World Showcase in Epcot going across the bridge towards Mexico. The kids and I stopped to snap this photo while we were waiting for DH to catch up.

Close up of the Gopher paper piecing from Pooh and Friends. I love this cart! I thought he was perfect for this layout. As always please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Have a blessed Monday

Disney Goofy Layout

I apologize again about the quality of photos. I need to retake these last few posts pictures.
I did this layout for a disney group challenge. Again I used my cricut and the Mickey & Friends cart to do the title, border, and paper piece. The cartridges really make paper piecing easy and quick. Just remember not to try and make them too small.

I still need to add the journaling. We were taking a break and my kids took a seat next to Goofy. Of course I thought great photo but we couldn't resist getting a little goofy with Goofy. My son is holding his nose as if Goofy might have some body odor going on under that arm. LOL

Have a scrappy day and be sure to leave a comment for me. I love hearing from all of you.

Thank You Cards

First I have to apologize for not posting in so long. I have scrapped a little bit but mostly I've been preparing for my son's graduation. These are some Thank You cards I made for him to send out. I apologize for the photos. I used my daughter's camera and it just doesn't have the pixels for close ups.

You can't see it but the top black piece was embossed with the cuttlebug Thank You embossing plate. I used the JustRite Monogram Stamp for the medallion. Very simple and clean cut but represents my son's personality well.

I hope you have a scrappy day and remember to leave a comment. I love hearing from you.
